Indication
- Essential hypertension (high blood pressure) - Cardiovascular risk reduction - Prevention of myocardial infarction - Prevention of stroke
Ingredients
- Telmisartan
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily with or without food. Tablets should be kept in the sealed blister pack until administration to protect from moisture.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Upper respiratory tract infection
- Back pain
- Fatigue
- Diarrhea
- Sinusitis
Precautions
- Do not use during pregnancy
- Risk of fetal toxicity
- Monitor serum potassium levels
- Caution in liver or kidney disease
- Risk of excessive low blood pressure
