Indication

Antifungal oral gel used for the treatment of fungal (candidal) infections of the mouth and throat, such as oral thrush, and of the gastrointestinal tract.

Ingredients

• Miconazole BP 2% w/w (20 mg per gram of gel)

Side effects

• May cause nausea

• dry mouth or mild local irritation. Rarely
• allergic reactions or liver disturbances may occur. If you experience troublesome or persistent effects
• consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• To be dispensed only by or on the prescription of a registered physician. Keep out of reach of children. Miconazole can interact with other medicines
• including anticoagulants such as warfarin — tell your doctor or pharmacist about all medicines you take. Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use in pregnancy
