Indication

- Anxiety disorders - Short-term relief of anxiety symptoms - Insomnia due to anxiety - Preoperative sedation - Status epilepticus management

Ingredients

• Lorazepam

Direction

Take orally as prescribed. Usually taken 2 to 3 times daily or once at bedtime.

Side effects

• Excessive daytime drowsiness
• Dizziness and lightheadedness
• Muscle weakness and ataxia
• Confusion or disorientation
• Blurred vision
• Respiratory depression at high doses

Precautions

• Risk of physical and psychological dependence
• Avoid alcohol during treatment
• May impair driving and machinery use
• Do not stop treatment abruptly
• Contraindicated in severe respiratory insufficiency
• Use caution in elderly patients
