Indication
- Medical termination of intrauterine pregnancy - Early pregnancy termination up to 63 days - Management of early pregnancy loss
Ingredients
- Mifepristone and Misoprostol
Direction
Day 1: Swallow one 200mg Mifepristone tablet. Day 3: Administer four 200mcg Misoprostol tablets vaginally or buccally 36-48 hours later.
Side effects
- Heavy vaginal bleeding
- Severe abdominal cramping
- Nausea and vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Fever and chills
- Dizziness and headache
Precautions
- Not for confirmed ectopic pregnancy
- Chronic adrenal failure contraindication
- Haemorrhagic disorders or anticoagulant therapy
- Severe uncontrolled asthma
- IUD must be removed before use
