Indication
- Essential hypertension - Management of stable angina pectoris
Ingredients
- Nicardipine hydrochloride
Direction
Take orally twice daily, approximately every 12 hours. Capsules must be swallowed whole with water and should not be crushed or chewed.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (ankle swelling)
- Headache
- Flushing
- Palpitations
- Dizziness
- Nausea
Precautions
- Severe aortic stenosis
- Use with caution in heart failure
- Dose adjustment needed in liver impairment
- Monitor blood pressure regularly
- Risk of hypotension
