Indication
- Community-acquired pneumonia - Acute bacterial sinusitis - Acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis - Complicated skin and skin structure infections - Complicated intra-abdominal infections - Pelvic inflammatory disease
Ingredients
- Moxifloxacin
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily. Swallow whole with or without food and complete the full prescribed course.
Side effects
- Nausea
- Diarrhea
- Dizziness
- Headache
- Vomiting
- Abdominal pain
Precautions
- Risk of tendonitis and tendon rupture
- Avoid in patients with Myasthenia gravis
- May cause QT interval prolongation
- Potential for permanent peripheral neuropathy
- Central nervous system effects like seizures
- History of hypersensitivity to fluoroquinolones
