Indication
- Hypertension (high blood pressure) - Chronic stable angina - Vasospastic angina (Prinzmetal's angina) - Coronary artery disease
Ingredients
- Amlodipine
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily at the same time each day, with or without food.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (swollen ankles)
- Dizziness
- Flushing
- Fatigue
- Palpitations
- Headache
Precautions
- Monitor blood pressure regularly
- Caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment
- May cause symptomatic hypotension
- Risk of increased angina during initiation
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding consultation required
