Indication
- Essential hypertension - Stable coronary artery disease - Reduction of cardiovascular risk
Ingredients
- Perindopril Arginine and Amlodipine Besylate
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, preferably in the morning before a meal. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema (ankle swelling)
- Persistent dry cough
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Headache
- Palpitations
- Flushing
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy and breastfeeding
- History of ACE
- inhibitor
- induced angioedema
- Monitor potassium levels and renal function
- Avoid use with aliskiren in diabetics
- Potential for symptomatic hypotension
