Indication
- Postherpetic neuralgia - Partial onset seizures - Neuropathic pain - Restless legs syndrome
Ingredients
- Gabapentin
Direction
Take orally, usually three times daily at evenly spaced intervals. May be taken with or without food; swallow capsules whole.
Side effects
- Dizziness and somnolence
- Peripheral edema
- Fatigue
- Ataxia and coordination problems
- Nystagmus
Precautions
- Risk of suicidal thoughts or behavior
- Do not discontinue treatment abruptly
- May cause CNS depression and impairment
- Dose adjustment required for renal impairment
- Monitor for severe respiratory depression
