Indication
- Urinary tract infections - Respiratory tract infections - Otitis media (middle ear infection) - Pharyngitis and tonsillitis - Acute bronchitis - Uncomplicated gonorrhea
Ingredients
- Cefixime
Direction
Take orally with or without food as directed by a physician. Usually taken once daily or divided into two doses every 12 hours.
Side effects
- Diarrhea
- Nausea and vomiting
- Abdominal pain
- Flatulence
- Skin rash
- Headache
Precautions
- History of penicillin allergy
- Severe renal impairment
- History of gastrointestinal disease (Colitis)
- Prolonged use may cause superinfection
