Indication
- Relieve constipation - Regulate bowel movement - Increase dietary fiber intake
Ingredients
- Psyllium husk (Semen Plantago ovata)
Direction
Mix sachet with 150ml of cold water, stir well, and drink immediately. Adults take 1-2 sachets daily; children aged 6-12 take 1/2 sachet daily.
Side effects
- Mild bloating
- Flatulence or gas
- Abdominal cramps
- Choking if taken without water
Precautions
- Avoid if allergic to psyllium
- Do not use with intestinal obstruction
- Avoid if having difficulty swallowing
- Not recommended for phenylketonurics
- Take with plenty of water
