Indication
- Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) eradication - Treatment of duodenal ulcers - Treatment of gastric ulcers - Prevention of peptic ulcer recurrence
Ingredients
- Omeprazole
- Tinidazole
- and Clarithromycin
Direction
Take one set of medications (one of each component) twice daily, morning and evening, usually before meals for 7-14 days.
Side effects
- Metallic or bitter taste
- Nausea or vomiting
- Diarrhea and abdominal pain
- Headache and dizziness
- Loss of appetite
Precautions
- Avoid alcohol during and 3 days after
- Contraindicated in macrolide or nitroimidazole allergy
- Use caution with liver or kidney impairment
- Not recommended during pregnancy or lactation
- Monitor for signs of pseudomembranous colitis
