Indication
- Nail fungal infections (onychomycosis) - Ringworm of the body (tinea corporis) - Jock itch (tinea cruris) - Athlete's foot (tinea pedis) - Scalp fungal infections (tinea capitis)
Ingredients
- Terbinafine Hydrochloride
Direction
Take one 250mg tablet orally once daily. Swallow the tablet whole with water, regardless of meals.
Side effects
- Headache
- Diarrhea or upset stomach
- Rash or hives
- Taste disturbance or loss
- Nausea or abdominal pain
- Elevated liver enzymes
Precautions
- Monitor liver function before/during treatment
- Avoid in patients with liver disease
- Use caution with kidney impairment
- Discontinue if skin rash occurs
- Report symptoms of dark urine/jaundice
