Indication
- Duodenal ulcer treatment - Drug-induced gastric ulcers - Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) - Zollinger-Ellison syndrome management - Helicobacter pylori eradication
Ingredients
- Esomeprazole Magnesium
Direction
Take orally once daily at least one hour before a meal. Swallow whole with water without crushing or chewing.
Side effects
- Headache
- Diarrhea
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea
- Flatulence
- Constipation
- Dry mouth
Precautions
- Hypersensitivity to proton pump inhibitors
- Exclude gastric malignancy before treatment
- Risk of bone fractures with long
- term use
- Risk of hypomagnesemia with prolonged therapy
- Severe hepatic impairment requires dose reduction
