Indication
- Essential hypertension (high blood pressure) - Management of uncontrolled blood pressure - Combination therapy for hypertension
Ingredients
- Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily, with or without food. Best taken at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood pressure control.
Side effects
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Nausea
- Headache
- Orthostatic hypotension
- Upper respiratory tract infection
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy (fetal toxicity)
- Use caution with renal impairment
- Monitor for electrolyte imbalances
- Sulfonamide allergy sensitivity
- Avoid dual blockade of RAAS
- Monitor liver function regularly
