Indication
- Hypertension - Congestive heart failure - Cardiovascular risk reduction - Treatment of kidney disease - Post-myocardial infarction treatment
Ingredients
- Ramipril
Direction
Take orally once daily, usually at the same time each day. Tablets can be taken with or without food and should be swallowed whole with water.
Side effects
- Persistent dry cough
- Dizziness or lightheadedness
- Headache
- Fatigue
- Hyperkalemia
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy
- Risk of angioedema
- Monitor blood potassium levels
- Assess renal function regularly
- Avoid use with aliskiren
