Indication
- Relief of bronchospasm - Management of asthma - Prevention of exercise-induced bronchospasm - Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) symptoms
Ingredients
- Salbutamol (as Sulfate)
Direction
Shake well before use. Administer 1 to 2 puffs by oral inhalation every 4 to 6 hours as needed for symptoms.
Side effects
- Hand tremors
- Rapid heartbeat (tachycardia)
- Headache
- Palpitations
- Muscle cramps
- Nervousness
Precautions
- Risk of paradoxical bronchospasm
- Use caution with cardiovascular disorders
- Monitor for hypokalemia at high doses
- Increasing use indicates worsening asthma control
- Consult doctor if relief lasts <3 hours
