Indication
- Type 2 diabetes mellitus - Glycemic control in adults
Ingredients
- Gliclazide
Direction
Take orally once daily with breakfast. The modified-release tablet must be swallowed whole and not crushed or chewed.
Side effects
- Hypoglycemia
- Gastrointestinal upset
- Nausea
- Skin rash
- Transient visual disturbances
Precautions
- Risk of hypoglycemia
- Severe renal or hepatic impairment
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding
- Allergy to sulfonylureas or sulfonamides
