Indication
- Essential hypertension - Management of high blood pressure - Replacement therapy for patients already controlled on individual components
Ingredients
- Telmisartan and Amlodipine
Direction
Take one tablet orally once daily with or without food. Tablets should be taken at the same time each day for best results.
Side effects
- Peripheral edema
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Somnolence
Precautions
- Contraindicated during pregnancy (fetal toxicity)
- Avoid use with aliskiren in diabetic patients
- Monitor for hypotension and electrolyte imbalance
- Use caution with severe hepatic or renal impairment
- Risk of angioedema
