Indication
- Hypertension - Heart failure - Left ventricular dysfunction after heart attack
Ingredients
- Carvedilol
Direction
Take orally with food to minimize the risk of orthostatic hypotension. Follow the specific dosage and titration schedule prescribed by your doctor.
Side effects
- Dizziness and lightheadedness
- Fatigue and weakness
- Slow heart rate (bradycardia)
- Low blood pressure (hypotension)
- Weight gain
Precautions
- Do not stop treatment abruptly
- Contraindicated in bronchial asthma/COPD
- Monitor heart rate and blood pressure
- May mask symptoms of hypoglycemia
- Caution in patients with bradycardia
