Mediclovir 5% w/w

Indication

Treatment of herpes simplex virus infections of the skin and herpes labialis, including initial and recurrent genital herpes.

Ingredients

• Acyclovir 50 mg/g

Direction

Apply to the affected area five times daily at approximately four-hour intervals for five days; continue only as directed if healing is incomplete.

Side effects

• Temporary burning
• stinging
• dryness
• itching
• redness
• or allergic skin reaction may occur.

Precautions

• For external skin use only. Avoid eyes
• mouth
• and internal genital mucosa
• wash hands before and after application.
• Consult a doctor or pharmacist before use and stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
