Indication

Antisepsis or disinfection of minor wounds, burns, lacerations and abrasions; prevention and treatment of skin and mucous-membrane infections; pre- and postoperative antisepsis.

Ingredients

• Povidone iodine 15 g per 150 mL (10%)

Direction

For external use only. Apply full strength to skin or dilute 1:10 with water for washing wounds, as directed by a healthcare professional.

Side effects

Precautions

• Avoid the eyes
• swallowing
• large areas
• deep wounds and prolonged use. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant
• breastfeeding
• treating a young child
• or if thyroid disease or iodine allergy is present. Stop if irritation or allergy occurs.
