Panadol Extra 500 mg / 65 mg

Indication

For fast and effective relief of pain and reduction of fever, including headache, migraine, backache, toothache, period pain, muscular aches, sore throat and the symptoms of cold and flu.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Caffeine 65 mg

Direction

Adults (including the elderly) and children aged 12 years and over: one or two tablets every four hours as required, up to a maximum of eight tablets in 24 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose. Swallow with water; gentle on the stomach even if taken before a meal.

Side effects

• Side effects are rare at the recommended dose but may include skin rash
• allergic reaction or blood disorders. Excess caffeine may cause nervousness
• dizziness or difficulty sleeping. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Precautions

• Do not exceed the stated dose. Do not take with any other paracetamol
• containing product. Contains caffeine — avoid excessive caffeine intake. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if pregnant
• breastfeeding
• or if you have liver or kidney disease. Stop use and seek immediate medical advice in case of overdose
• even if you feel well.
