Colifed Syrup 100 mL

Indication

Relieves the symptoms of the common cold: nasal discharge and congestion, sneezing, throat pain, cough, sputum, chills, fever, headache, arthralgia and myalgia.

Ingredients

• Acetaminophen 650 mg
• Chlorpheniramine maleate 4.15 mg
• Dextromethorphan HBr 26.65 mg
• dl
• Methylephedrine HCl 33.3 mg
• Guaifenesin 140 mg
• Thiamine nitrate 10 mg
• Riboflavin 5 mg (per 100 mL)

Direction

Take an adequate dose at four-hour intervals, after meals and at bedtime as needed, according to the age table on the package: 15 years and over 30 mL, 11–15 years 20 mL, 7–11 years 15 mL, 3–7 years 10 mL, 1–3 years 7.5 mL, 3 months–1 year 5 mL. Not recommended under 3 months.

Side effects

• dry mouth
• dizziness
• blurred vision or an allergic reaction such as rash may occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if these occur.

Precautions

• May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery after taking it
• and avoid alcohol. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of reach of children. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant
• breastfeeding or giving it to a young child. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or an allergic reaction occurs.
