Appetine Cyproheptadine Syrup 2 mg / 5 mL, 100 mL

Indication

Appetite stimulant and antihistamine for the symptomatic treatment of various allergic manifestations such as allergic rhinitis, pruritus, urticaria and allergic skin reactions, and for poor appetite.

Ingredients

• Cyproheptadine hydrochloride 2 mg per 5 mL

Direction

Children 2 to 6 years: 5 mL, two to three times a day. Children 7 to 14 years: 5 to 10 mL, two to three times a day. Adults: 10 mL, three to four times a day, or as directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dry mouth
• dizziness
• blurred vision or an allergic reaction such as rash may occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if these occur.

Precautions

• May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery after taking it
• and avoid alcohol. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of reach of children. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant
• breastfeeding or giving it to a young child. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or an allergic reaction occurs.
