Indication

Benzodiazepine used for the short-term treatment of anxiety disorders, on medical prescription only.

• Alprazolam 0.5 mg

Direction

On medical prescription only. Take exactly as directed by the physician; refer to the package insert for further information. Store at a temperature below 30°C and protect from light.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dry mouth
• dizziness
• blurred vision or an allergic reaction such as rash may occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if these occur.

Precautions

• May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery after taking it
• and avoid alcohol. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of reach of children. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant
• breastfeeding or giving it to a young child. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or an allergic reaction occurs.
