Codalgin Forte 500 mg / 30 mg

Indication

Short-term management of severe pain, when other pain relief is not sufficient. Prescription drug.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg
• Codeine phosphate 30 mg

Direction

Children over 12 years of age and adults: 1 or 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours if necessary, for relief of severe pain. Do not exceed 8 tablets in a 24-hour period. Store below 30°C, protect from light and moisture. Free from sucrose and lactose.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dry mouth
• dizziness
• blurred vision or an allergic reaction such as rash may occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if these occur.

Precautions

• May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery after taking it
• and avoid alcohol. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of reach of children. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant
• breastfeeding or giving it to a young child. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or an allergic reaction occurs.
