Indication

Sulfonylurea antidiabetic for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in adults, when diet, exercise and weight reduction alone are not sufficient to control blood glucose.

Ingredients

• Gliclazide 30 mg per modified
• release tablet

Direction

Take by mouth as prescribed by the physician, usually once daily at breakfast. Swallow the tablet whole; do not chew or crush. Keep out of the reach of children. Store below 30°C.

Side effects

• Side effects may include nausea

• dizziness
• drowsiness or an allergic reaction such as rash or itching. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if these occur.

Precautions
