Caltoux 30 mg / 2 mg

Indication

Symptomatic relief of dry cough and irritative cough (toux sèche, toux d'irritation) in adults.

Ingredients

• Dextromethorphan hydrobromide 30 mg
• Triprolidine hydrochloride 2 mg (per tablet)

Direction

Oral route. Adults from 15 years old: 1 tablet, every 4 to 6 hours if needed. Do not exceed 4 tablets per day. The therapy duration should be a few days (limited to 5 days). Children from 6 to 15 years: half a tablet, every 4 to 6 hours if needed; do not exceed 4 tablets per day. Store below 30°C. Protect from light, heat and humidity.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dry mouth
• dizziness
• blurred vision or an allergic reaction such as rash may occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if these occur.

Precautions

• May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery after taking it
• and avoid alcohol. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of reach of children. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant
• breastfeeding or giving it to a young child. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or an allergic reaction occurs.
