Indication
Antihistaminic and antiallergic prescription drug. Indicated in urticaria, chronic bronchial asthma, allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis and contact dermatitis.
Ingredients
- Betamethasone 0.25 mg
- Dexchlorphenamine maleate 2 mg (per tablet)
Direction
Adults and children over 12 years: initial dosage is 1 to 2 tablets, 3 to 4 times daily. Children 6 to 12 years: 1/2 to 1 tablet, 3 to 4 times daily. Read the insert paper carefully before using. Keep out of reach of children. Store at room temperature below 30°C.
Side effects
- Drowsiness
- dry mouth
- dizziness
- blurred vision or an allergic reaction such as rash may occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if these occur.
Precautions
- May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery after taking it
- and avoid alcohol. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of reach of children. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant
- breastfeeding or giving it to a young child. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or an allergic reaction occurs.
