Appetine 4 mg

Indication

Appetite stimulant. Symptomatic treatment of various allergic manifestations such as allergic rhinitis, allergic conjunctivitis, pruritus, allergic skin disorders (urticaria, local reactions to insect bites).

Ingredients

• Cyproheptadine 4 mg (as cyproheptadine hydrochloride) per tablet

Direction

Oral route. Children 2 to 6 years old: 1 tablet, 2 to 3 times per day. Children 7 to 14 years old: 1 tablet, 2 to 3 times per day. Adults: 1 tablet, 3 to 4 times per day. Keep out of reach of children. Store below 30°C. Protect from light, heat and humidity.

Side effects

• Drowsiness
• dry mouth
• dizziness
• blurred vision or an allergic reaction such as rash may occur. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if these occur.

Precautions

• May cause drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery after taking it
• and avoid alcohol. Do not exceed the stated dose. Keep out of reach of children. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you are pregnant
• breastfeeding or giving it to a young child. Stop use and consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist or an allergic reaction occurs.
