Metro-MS 250 250 mg

Indication

Intestinal amoebiasis, giardiasis, asymptomatic amoebiasis, hepatic amoebiasis and infections due to anaerobic bacteria (Clostridium perfringens, Bacteroides fragilis).

Ingredients

• Metronidazole 250 mg per tablet

Direction

Oral route. Dysentery amoebiasis — adults: 1.5 g per day in 3 divided doses; children: 15 mg per kg per day in 3 divided doses. Giardiasis — adults: 750 mg per day in 3 divided doses; children: 20 to 30 mg per kg per day in 3 divided doses. Store at a temperature below 30°C. Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Keep out of the reach of children.
