Pediasolvent Bromhexine hydrochloride 1.6 mg/mL

Indication

Thins and loosens mucus and helps clear stubborn chest congestion and cough with mucus.

Ingredients

• Bromhexine hydrochloride 1.6 mg per mL

Direction

Use orally with the supplied syringe three times daily: ages 1-5 years, 1.25 mL; ages 6-12 years, 2.5 mL; over 12 years and adults, 5-10 mL. Do not exceed 0.75 mg/kg/day without medical advice.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal discomfort or diarrhea may occur.
• Stop use and seek medical help if rash
• swelling or another allergic reaction occurs.

Precautions

• Consult a doctor before use for bronchial asthma
• narrowing of the bronchial lumen
• weakness
• or a history of gastric or duodenal ulcer.
