Cloderm Clobetasol 0.05% w/w (as clobetasol propionate 0.0568% w/w)

Indication

For short-term treatment of moderate to severe inflammatory and itchy dermatoses that respond to very potent topical corticosteroids.

Ingredients

• Clobetasol propionate 0.0568% w/w
• equivalent to clobetasol 0.05% w/w

Direction

Apply sparingly to the affected area and rub in once or twice daily, or use as directed by a doctor or pharmacist; stop when control is achieved.

Side effects

• Burning
• itching
• irritation
• dryness or folliculitis may occur.
• Prolonged or excessive use may cause skin thinning
• stretch marks
• colour changes
• secondary infection or systemic corticosteroid effects.

Precautions

• For external use only
• do not use in or around the eyes and keep out of reach of children.
• Avoid prolonged use
• large areas and occlusive dressings
• do not use on untreated bacterial
• fungal or viral skin infection
• rosacea
• acne or perioral dermatitis unless directed by a doctor.
