POSITON Neomycin 2.5 mg/g + Triamcinolone acetonide 1 mg/g + Nystatin 100,000 IU/g

Indication

Prescription treatment of corticosteroid-responsive dermatoses complicated by, or at risk of, susceptible bacterial or fungal infection.

Ingredients

• Neomycin 2.5 mg/g (as neomycin sulfate)
• Triamcinolone acetonide 1 mg/g
• Nystatin 100
• 000 IU/g

Direction

Apply a thin layer only to the affected skin in the frequency and duration directed by the prescribing physician. For external use only.

Side effects

• Burning
• itching
• dryness
• irritation
• contact allergy
• or rash may occur.
• Prolonged or excessive corticosteroid use may cause skin thinning or other local steroid effects.

Precautions

• Prescription medicine. Avoid eyes and mucous membranes
• do not use for viral or tuberculous skin disease.
• Do not use on large areas
• under occlusion
• or for longer than prescribed
• seek advice if infection worsens or there is no improvement.
