Indication

Prescription topical combination for an inflamed fungal skin condition when both antifungal treatment and a potent corticosteroid are judged necessary by a clinician.

Ingredients

• Ketoconazole 10 mg/g (1%)
• Clobetasol propionate 0.5 mg/g (0.05%)

Direction

For external use only. Apply a thin layer only to the diagnosed area and for the duration directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Burning
• itching
• stinging
• redness or irritation may occur.
• Clobetasol may cause skin thinning
• stretch marks
• pigment change or systemic corticosteroid effects
• especially with prolonged
• extensive or covered use.

Precautions

• Avoid eyes
• mouth
• face
• groin and underarms unless specifically directed
• do not use under an occlusive dressing.
• Do not self
• treat an undiagnosed rash
• seek reassessment if it worsens or does not improve promptly.
