Indication

For management of burns, infected wounds, scalds and skin ulcers, as directed by a clinician.

Ingredients

• Placenta extract 10%
• Neomycin sulfate 0.5%

Direction

Apply a sufficient amount of jelly to the wound surface 3 to 5 times daily as needed, or follow the clinician's directions.

Side effects

• Neomycin may cause hypersensitivity reactions such as redness or urticaria.
• Use on extensive burns may rarely cause kidney or hearing toxicity
• particularly with renal impairment or other nephrotoxic or ototoxic medicines.

Precautions

• Stop if sensitization occurs
• prolonged neomycin use may lead to secondary infection
• including fungal infection.
• Do not use in or around the eyes. During pregnancy or breastfeeding
• use only if clearly needed and professionally advised.
