Dexil 60 mg

Indication

Prescription proton-pump inhibitor; the 60 mg strength is used for healing erosive esophagitis in patients 12 years and older, as directed by a physician.

Ingredients

• Dexlansoprazole 60 mg per dual delayed
• release capsule

Direction

Use only as prescribed. Swallow the delayed-release capsule whole without chewing; it may be taken without regard to food unless the physician directs otherwise.

Side effects

• Diarrhea
• abdominal pain
• nausea
• vomiting
• flatulence
• or upper respiratory symptoms may occur.

Precautions

• Do not use with hypersensitivity to dexlansoprazole or while taking a rilpivirine
• containing medicine.
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest appropriate duration
• prolonged PPI treatment requires medical review for kidney inflammation
• persistent diarrhea
• low magnesium
• fractures
• vitamin B12 deficiency
• lupus
• or severe rash.
