Codalgin Forte Paracetamol 500 mg / Codeine phosphate 30 mg

Indication

Short-term management of severe pain when prescribed by a doctor.

Ingredients

• Paracetamol 500 mg per tablet
• Codeine phosphate 30 mg per tablet

Direction

Adults and children 12 years and older: one or two tablets every 4–6 hours if necessary. Do not exceed eight tablets in 24 hours and use only as prescribed.

• dry mouth or allergic reactions may occur

Precautions

• Prescription opioid medicine
• codeine can cause addiction and respiratory depression. Do not combine with alcohol
• sedatives
• or other paracetamol products
• and do not drive if drowsy.
• Contraindicated under 12 years
• during breastfeeding
• and in certain adolescents with compromised respiratory function
