Vometa FT Domperidone 10 mg

Indication

Short-term prescription relief of nausea and vomiting.

Ingredients

• Domperidone 10 mg

Direction

Adults and adolescents aged 12 years or older weighing at least 35 kg: take 10 mg up to three times daily before meals, only as prescribed, for the shortest possible time and normally no longer than one week.

Side effects

• Dry mouth
• headache
• dizziness or diarrhea may occur.
• Stop and seek urgent care for fainting
• a rapid or irregular heartbeat
• chest pain or an allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Do not use with moderate or severe liver impairment
• existing cardiac rhythm or conduction problems
• or medicines that prolong QT or strongly inhibit CYP3A4.
• Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration
• cardiac risk is higher in older people and at doses above 30 mg/day.
