Creazol Metronidazole 250 mg

Indication

Prescription treatment of susceptible anaerobic bacterial infections and selected protozoal infections.

Ingredients

• Metronidazole 250 mg

Direction

Take only at the dose, interval and duration prescribed for the diagnosed infection, and complete the course. Swallow orally; do not share or use for viral illness.

Side effects

• Nausea
• abdominal discomfort
• diarrhea
• headache or a metallic taste may occur.
• Seek prompt care for numbness
• seizures
• severe rash
• jaundice
• unusual bruising or a serious allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Avoid alcohol and products containing propylene glycol during treatment and for at least three days afterward.
• Review interactions including warfarin
• lithium and disulfiram
• use carefully in liver disease
• blood disorders or neurologic disease.
