Indication

For susceptible bacterial infections, including ear, nose and throat, bronchopulmonary, dental, skin, and genital infections.

Direction

For oral use. Take only as prescribed and complete the full prescribed course.

Side effects

• Nausea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain
• and diarrhea may occur.
• Seek medical help for severe allergy
• liver symptoms
• an abnormal heartbeat
• or severe or persistent diarrhea.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to erythromycin or other macrolides
• tell the prescriber about liver disease
• heart
• rhythm problems
• and all other medicines.
• Use only for a proven or strongly suspected bacterial infection.
