Indication

For susceptible bacterial infections of the respiratory tract and skin, including pharyngitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, and pneumonia.

• Clarithromycin 250 mg

Direction

For oral use. Take only as prescribed and complete the full prescribed course.

Side effects

• Nausea
• diarrhea
• vomiting
• abdominal pain
• and taste changes may occur.
• Seek medical help for severe allergy
• liver symptoms
• an abnormal heartbeat
• or severe or persistent diarrhea.

Precautions

• Do not use if allergic to clarithromycin or other macrolides
• tell the prescriber about liver or kidney disease
• heart
• rhythm problems
• and all other medicines.
• Use only for a proven or strongly suspected bacterial infection.
