Indication

Prescription gastric-acid suppression for gastro-oesophageal reflux disease, gastric or duodenal ulcer, NSAID-associated ulceration, Helicobacter pylori eradication regimens, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, acid-related dyspepsia, or prevention of acid aspiration, as selected by a physician.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole 40 mg per enteric
• coated capsule

Direction

Swallow the capsule whole by mouth; do not crush or chew it. The dose and duration depend on the condition and must follow the physician's prescription.

Side effects

• Headache
• diarrhoea
• constipation
• abdominal pain
• nausea
• vomiting
• or flatulence may occur.
• Seek medical care for a severe allergic reaction
• serious rash
• confusion
• or unusual bleeding or infection signs.

Precautions

• Do not use with hypersensitivity to omeprazole
• substituted benzimidazoles
• or any formulation component.
• A physician should exclude gastric malignancy when ulcer is suspected and review liver impairment
• pregnancy
• breastfeeding
• and interacting medicines.
