Promag Fast Relief 400 mg/300 mg/100 mg per 10 mL

Indication

Fast symptomatic relief of heartburn, acid indigestion, stomach discomfort, fullness, and bloating associated with excess gastric acid.

Ingredients

• Hydrotalcite 400 mg
• magnesium hydroxide 300 mg
• and simethicone 100 mg per 10 mL sachet

Direction

Shake or knead before drinking. Adults and children older than 12 years: take one sachet 3–4 times daily when symptoms occur, 1–2 hours before or after meals and before bedtime. Children 6–12 years: one-half to one sachet 3–4 times daily or as directed by a doctor.

Side effects

• Constipation
• diarrhoea
• nausea
• or vomiting may occur and usually resolve after stopping.
• Stop and seek care for allergic symptoms
• severe abdominal pain
• persistent vomiting
• black stools
• or symptoms that do not improve.

Precautions

• Do not use with allergy to a component. Ask a clinician before use with kidney disease
• magnesium or aluminium restrictions
• pregnancy
• or breastfeeding.
• Antacids may reduce absorption of other oral medicines
• separate doses by at least 2 hours and do not use prolonged courses without advice.
