Indication

Prescription local treatment of bacterial otitis externa with an intact eardrum, particularly infected eczema of the external ear canal.

• Dexamethasone sodium metasulfobenzoate 0.1 g/100 mL

Direction

Warm the bottle in the palm before use. Adults: 1–5 drops in the affected ear twice daily; children: 1–2 drops according to age twice daily. Keep the head tilted about 5 minutes. Usual treatment is 7 days; follow the prescription.

Precautions

• Never use with a damaged or perforated eardrum
