Avamys Fluticasone furoate 27.5 µg per spray

Indication

Prescription treatment of nasal symptoms of allergic rhinitis, including congestion, runny nose, itching and sneezing.

Ingredients

• Fluticasone furoate 27.5 µg per actuation

Direction

Use intranasally exactly as prescribed. Shake well before use. Adults and adolescents 12 years and over commonly start with two sprays in each nostril once daily; children 6–11 years commonly start with one spray in each nostril once daily.

Side effects

• Nosebleed and headache are common
• nasal ulceration
• dryness
• irritation or soreness may occur.
• Rare allergic reactions can include rash
• swelling or anaphylaxis
• seek urgent care for severe reactions.

Precautions

• Prescription/controlled medicine
• do not exceed the prescribed dose.
• Tell a clinician about ritonavir
• cobicistat or other strong CYP3A inhibitors. Long
• term use requires monitoring
• particularly in children.
