Indication

Prescription treatment of acid-related disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer disease, as selected by a physician.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole 20 mg per hard gelatin capsule as enteric
• coated pellets

Direction

Take orally exactly as directed by the physician. Swallow the gastro-resistant capsule without chewing; follow the enclosed leaflet.

Side effects

• Headache
• abdominal pain
• nausea
• diarrhoea
• vomiting or flatulence may occur.
• Seek medical advice for persistent severe diarrhoea
• reduced urination
• rash or an allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Use the lowest effective dose for the prescribed duration. Symptom relief does not exclude a serious stomach disorder.
• Tell the physician about other medicines
• especially rilpivirine
• clopidogrel
• methotrexate or long
• term corticosteroid use.
