Omecid 20 mg

Indication

Treatment of acid-related disorders such as gastroesophageal reflux disease and peptic ulcer disease, when prescribed by a physician.

Ingredients

• Omeprazole 20 mg per gastro
• resistant capsule as enteric
• coated granules

Direction

Take orally as directed by the physician, preferably before a meal. Swallow without chewing the gastro-resistant granules.

Side effects

• Headache
• abdominal pain
• nausea
• diarrhoea
• vomiting or flatulence may occur.
• Seek medical advice for persistent severe diarrhoea
• reduced urination
• rash or an allergic reaction.

Precautions

• Use the lowest effective dose for the directed duration
• persistent or alarm symptoms require medical assessment.
• Tell the physician about other medicines and existing liver disease
• osteoporosis or low magnesium.
