Indication

Treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to cefuroxime when prescribed by a clinician.

Ingredients

• Cefuroxime 250 mg (as cefuroxime axetil)

Direction

For oral use. Take exactly as prescribed, preferably after food, and complete the full course.

Side effects

• Nausea
• diarrhea
• abdominal discomfort
• headache
• or rash may occur
• seek urgent care for severe allergy or severe or persistent diarrhea.

Precautions

• Prescription medicine. Do not use with a serious allergy to cefuroxime or other cephalosporins
• tell the prescriber about penicillin allergy
• kidney disease
• and all other medicines.
